Welcome, and thank you for visiting our website!

Kennel Cheya´s is a small hobby´kennel, located in Estonia and registered with the FCI (Federation Cynologique Internationale) and the EKU (Estonian Kennel Union) since 2001 (formerly Perfect Stranger).

Dogs have always been a part of my life. More precisely, I got involved with show dogs as a teenager when I still lived with my parents. I bred American Cocker Spaniels and Whippets on a small scale breeding program and showed them resulting in some wonderful accomplishments along the way. Today, these dogs are retired from my breeding program and they enjoy life, living with my parents. You can see them here.

I am very interested in showing and breeding and have consistently tried to educate myself as much as possible. I have worked in a number of different kennels in Europe as a kennel helper, and I have also spent some time in the U.S.A to live and learn from various professional handlers.

After I got married, my husband and I started to look for a breed that would suit our lifestyle. We found the perfect match, the Alaskan Malamute. The Alaskan Malamute is a very sweet and friendly family breed. The breed is also very active, which keeps us busy and entertained. Today, we now own a few Alaskan Malamutes and we are more than ever convinced that this breed was the right choice for us.

Our dogs are a part of the family. They share the house and the garden with us. I show my dogs frequently, however, we also spend a lot of time exercising, training, hiking, obedience training, or just running and having fun.

Our dogs are bred for temperament, health, soundness, while always keeping the breed standard as a guiding tool.

I am the foundation and board member of Alaskan Malamute Club of Estonia and member of Estonian Kennel Union.

Thank you for your interest in our dogs. If you have any questions, please contact us. We are always happy to get new friends and we are always willing to talk about our passion... dogs :)
